Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Francisco (a.k.a. Paco) was fortunate to be surrounded by young aspiring artists in his early education while studying at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. His style is molded by contemporary, classic, jazz, and modern composers as well as 80s music, new wave, progressive and mainstream music. This diversity of his past musical exposure keeps his sound ever evolving and fresh.
Paco started his disc jockey career in Portland, Oregon playing to small audiences in local clubs in 2006. In 2008, Paco competed in and won a nationwide DJ contest to play a party at one of the biggest gay gatherings in the United States: Gay Days in Orlando, Florida. This was then followed with invitations to perform repeatedly at New York City Gay Pride and large parties in Maine, Barcelona, Madrid, Torremolinos, Munich, San Francisco, New Orleans, Auckland, Provincetown, Denver and at Sydney Mardi Gras three years in a row performing alongside Yinon Yahel, Seamus Haji, Frankie Knuckles and Calvin Harris.
Paco is currently working with Craig C on original, remix and re-edit projects incorporating pop, deep house and tribal disco flavor all around. Check out his sounds at http://www.djfsg.com.
